Ownership group and more than 100 team members came together to celebrate a milestone year, recognize outstanding contributions and look ahead to a team of more than 200.
MISSISSAUGA, ON – September 24, 2026 – Lift North America began its 20th Anniversary celebrations by bringing its entire team together for its Annual General Meeting at the company's Ordan Drive facility in Mississauga. The company's owners were joined by more than 100 team members from every department to reflect on two decades of growth and recognize the people behind the company's success. They also shared an ambitious plan for the year ahead: growing the team to more than 200 people and adding a new product line to the company's offering.
Twenty years of putting clients first
Since Derek Radford founded the company in 2006, Lift North America has grown from a small operation built on hard work and strong relationships into Canada's largest independent lift truck service provider. That growth has come through strategic acquisitions and steady organic expansion across Ontario and beyond.
Throughout that journey, one principle has never changed: clients come first. The meeting recognized that every milestone the company has reached was made possible by the trust of its clients and partners, and delivered by the team members who take care of them every day.
Service at the heart of everything we do
Founder and President, Derek Radford opened the meeting by speaking about the importance of service and the role it has played in Lift North America's success. He highlighted the technicians, parts, sales, rental and office teams who keep clients' operations running, and thanked everyone for the care they bring to every call. He also announced that the coming year will focus on training and new tools to further strengthen the team.
"Our clients trust us to keep their operations running, and that trust is earned one service call at a time," said Radford. "Service has been at the heart of this company since day one, and it always will be. Over the next year, we are investing in training and new tools so every member of our team has the skills and support to take care of our clients at an even higher level."
A vision for growth across every segment
General Manager and Co-owner, Craig MacAdam shared the company's vision for the future and the growth opportunities ahead across each of its business segments, from lift truck sales, rentals, service and parts to Kärcher industrial and municipal equipment and Engo ice arena equipment. He announced plans to grow the team to more than 200 people within the next year, along with a new product segment and line that will expand the company's service offering.
"We would not be where we are today without our clients, our partners and the people in this room," said MacAdam. "Twenty years has given us a strong foundation, and we see real opportunities to grow in every part of our business. Our new product line will give our clients even more reasons to rely on us. As we grow to a team of more than 200 people, we will keep looking for people who share our commitment to doing the job right."
